** Because the organization has shifted our focus back to an earlier period of historic electric rail transit, in early 2017, both of our DFW Airport Transit cars were offered to other nearby transportation-related organizations. The only interest expressed required that we facilitate the move at our own expense. Sadly, it was decided at our Quarterly Board Meeting in April 2017 that this was not feasible, and thus work began in May to scrap the two cars for salvage and thereby increase our budget for other, more appropriate expenditures.
